The Credit Union Association of the Dakotas and the Montana Credit Union Network announced last week they will hold their first joint meeting in January 2017 in Las Vegas.

This is the third inter-league meeting that was either held or announced this year.

From Sept. 15-17, the Credit Union League of Connecticut and the Vermont Association of Credit Unions held their first strategy symposium in Portsmouth, N.H.  In addition, in August, the Northwest Credit Union Association and the Idaho Credit Union League announced a three-year partnership to hold simultaneous annual membership meetings. The first meeting will be held in Spokane, Wash.

“This new joint effort, called the MONDAK Roundtable, is another positive step for sustainable development for our two leagues and for our members, while achieving a favorable cost/benefit trade-off as well,” Jeff Olson, president/CEO of the Dakotas association, said.

Tracie Kenyon, president/CEO of the Montana network, said this event will create new opportunity for education and networking.

“In addition to important industry discussions, each league will be hosting their own in-person board meeting prior to the CEO and volunteer roundtable dialogue,” Kenyon said.

Following the league board meetings, guest speakers will be Mike Schenk, CUNA’s vice president of economics and statistics and  Brandi Stankovic, a motivational speaker and organizational change expert.

The MONDAK Roundtable meeting will be held January 10-11 at Planet Hollywood.
