Mark Sievewright, president, Credit Union Solutions at Brookfield, Wis.-based Fiserv, decided after 11 years at Fiserv, to step away from the company in spring 2017 to pursue personal business interests.

Fiserv selected Vincent “Vinnie” Brennan, one of the top leaders at Fiserv, who, up until Wednesday, was leading the company’s Card Services business, to succeed Sievewright as President, Credit Union Solutions, effective immediately.

“Vinnie has been a successful leader within the Fiserv organization for nearly a decade,” a Fiserv announcement stated. Before joining Fiserv in 2008, Brennan held senior leadership positions at Digital Insight, John H. Harland & Co., and has more than 30 years of experience in financial services.

“To ensure a smooth transition, until his departure, Mark will act as vice chairman, Credit Union Solutions, serving as a strategic consultant and advisor to our clients and the Fiserv organization,” the announcement said.

Mark Sievewright, president of Credit Union Solutions at Brookfield, Wis.-based Fiserv, has spent almost 20 years making a difference in the credit union industry. Sievewright was named runner-up in the voting for champion of 2015’s CUTimes25 Final Four, which honored the most influential leader in credit unions since 1990.

The Welsh-born Sievewright has 30 years of financial services industry experience under his belt. That journey began in 1979 at Midland Bank (now HSBC) in the United Kingdom, where he held a variety of senior business management and operational roles within the bank’s retail banking, card services and money transmissions divisions.
