Women remain underrepresented across organizations—especially at senior levels of leadership—a new survey by LeanIn.Org and McKinsey found.

The findings revealed  that women are less likely to advance than men and face more barriers to senior leadership. In addition, it was projected, given the rate of progress of the past three years, that it will take more than 100 years for the upper reaches of US corporations to achieve gender parity.

Some 118 companies and nearly 30,000 employees participated in the Women in the Workplace joint study by LeanIn.Org and McKinsey.
