It may be one of those little-known facts in the credit union industry: From 2001 to 2016, 15 credit unions have been named to Fortune magazine’s best workplace lists, which is considered the most prestigious lists to make in the business world.
What’s more, it seems more cooperatives are appearing on a variety of statewide, regional and local best workplace lists. And some credit unions have been named to these lists multiple times.
So why are more credit unions than ever competing to be named to these lists?
